Podium-Powered Rankings
DriftRank is a drifting database first. Rankings are powered by approved podium results: championship round podiums count at full weight, and qualifying podiums count at half weight. Drivers without podiums still remain listed in the database.
Snapshot principles
Pending imports and draft rows do not affect public rankings. A snapshot is created from approved championship and qualifying result records and can be filtered by season and series/organization. The ranking table is a podium snapshot, not the full driver database.
Ranking priority
1st CreditMost weighted first-place credit ranks highest.
2nd CreditIf first-place credit is tied, compare weighted second-place credit.
3rd CreditIf still tied, compare weighted third-place credit.
Raw PodiumsRaw podium counts remain visible for easy scanning.
Stable tie handling
When drivers have the same weighted 1st, 2nd, and 3rd-place credit, the UI sorts them alphabetically by driver name. Raw podium counts remain visible so fans can scan the table without losing the simple podium-first model.
